The Squirrel Game

Before Alec and I came up with a governor paintball game we had other game ideas too. In this game your a squirrel trying to catch as many nuts in your bag as you can. You go though all of these obstacles along the way, and you have to dodge different objects while trying to comlete the task. Which makes it more complicated to get the job done. After we came up this idea we realized it was too typical for a game for someone to play. Plus once I thought about Mr. Reed already made a game almost similar to that called Defender Bunny. So in the end Alec and I decided not to go with that game idea.

Spring Valley

I moved to Spring Valley my eighth grade summer and wasn't looking forward to it at all. I loved where I lived and loved all of my friends and was devastated that I had to leave. My best friend lived there and I was moving quite a while away. When I got here I figured I would be bitter and get in trouble so mom told me no more fights once we moved. Once I got here it wasn't that bad. The guy that I met the day I moved here and actually helped us move here, I've now been dating for almost three years in August. I made new friends and still kept my old ones too. I've had an amazing two and a half years with my friends and made all kinds of CRAZY memories. Next year will be the end of it and high shool will end and college will come. People will change and go thier seperatr ways and it makes me sad thinking of it. As much as I hate high school I know that I'l hate it more when I'm gone. I def. miss it and most of everyone here

Obama

At the beginning of the election I had my mind made up that I either wanted Hillary or Obama to win no matter what. Not for stupid pointless reasons but because it would be a huge change, life- changing, change for this country. Our country has come a long way from reacism and discrimination. Inthe end, Obama won and I was very happy. People never thought this would happen years and years ago, and now it has. We can say years from now we lived through a life changing experience that will one day be history. I thought he would be a great president and do a great job. Now everyone is having all kinds of doubts because of some of the decisins he's made and the moneynhe has spent. So now I'm on the fence and don't know what to think, is Obama being president going to be bad for us?

What I've Got Out of Game design

I have actually learned a lot in game design this year. In the beginning of the year the only reason I took the class is because I figured that it was be easy. I figured everyone would just goof off and not do anything. But now that I've been in here I realized that this class wasvery helpful and useful. One of the first things we learned to do is work with Flash 2.0, which I've never used before. When using this program you can put together as many screens as you like and make a mini movie. We also learned to do coding which incorperates movement and souds that make the movie come to life. After this we all got in groups and created a quiz game that some of us presented. Alec, J.P., and I were all in a group and decided to do a quiz game on carttons. Most of everyone have watched cartoons before and that's why we chose it. Now the class is regrouping and creating a new, educational "movie". Alec and I are in a group and came up with a lot of ideas and finally decided on governor paintball, which I'm really excited about. So all in all when the year is over with I will take a lot with me from this class.

My Action Movie

I really enjoy action movies but I don't have very many good action ideas. I don't even know where to start. I would take ideas from movies and so forth maybe check out some other peoples games and go from there.Ill have to take a lot of time and put forth a lot of effort for this movie.
